Today many photographers either don’t offer albums or give you the option of receiving your images on a dvd. So what do you do with all of your amazing photographs? Well, you can frame a few of your favorites. But you would hardly have the wall space to frame more than a few.
So what are the options for the bride who wants a high end album? Sure, you can go the DIY route, but what about the quality? Most brides are not designers and it can be a cumbersome task to design an album yourself if you are not familiar with design programs. Some album companies do offer their own album designing software but there is usually still a learning curve. The end product may look good for ten years but if the quality of manufacturing is not there you may experience problems with warping and fading of your images. If you are not familiar with good design, you may end up with a product that looks dated.
At Elioso Design, I am committed to offering high end albums that withstand the test of time. I want you to be thrilled with your wedding album ten, twenty, thirty years from now just as you are today. Think of your album as an investment. You’ve gotten married, time has passed and your day is over. The one thing that you can carry with you through time to remember your day is your photographs.
Many photographers refer to their pricing as an “investment.” There is a good reason for that. An investment is defined as “An asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or appreciate in the future.” You may not get money back from your photographs or your album but you can certainly gain the joy that both will bring you over time. Something that costs $1000 today but lasts you for generations is a pretty good deal, don’t you think?
